Bryce Ruland, Waterford, WINS World Athletic U20 Championship

(August 31, Lima, Peru) - Wisconsin Association's own Bryce Ruland, of Waterford, won the World Athletic U20 Championship on Saturday, August 31, in Lima, Peru. Bryce won with a personal best of 62.59 meters. His distance puts him No. 6 on the all-time U.S. U20 performer list. The two-time WIAA State Discus Champion will be starting his freshman year at the University of Iowa this week.
